More artists announced!

It‘s time to serve up another batch of artists confirmed for Iceland Airwaves 2012, which will be held Oct 31 – Nov 4 in Reykjavík.

International goodies confirmed are wunderkind Patrick Wolf (UK), electronic rock duo Phantogram (US), electronic pop-soul outfit Polica (US), Jamie N Commons (UK), who the BBC named one of the sounds of 2012, Nordic Music Prize nominees Rubik (FI), Austrian techno traditionalists Elektro Guzzi and Norwegian electro-pop newcomers Philco Fiction.

From the ever creative Iceland we bring you the qween of local radio charts Retro Stefson, viking metal bad boys in Skálmöld, lo-fi duo Nolo, Winners of the Iceland Wacken Metal Battle, Gone Postal and Iceland’s extreme revivalists Muck. Battle of the Bands runner ups Morning After Youth, R’n’B mystery boy Gabríel and finally, fresh from the Músíktilraunir competition (which Of Monsters and Men won last year!) RetRoBot, Þoka and Funk That Shit.
