The Iceland Airwaves Media Center is an indispensable part of the festival. Through the years it has been located at various bars/restaurants in downtown Reykjavík, in walking distance from all the festival venues.
At the Media Center, festival goers can pick up their festival passes, purchase Iceland Airwaves merch, annoy the staff with weird questions and hook up with other festival goers.
