COVID-19 and Iceland Airwaves

With Iceland Airwaves still quite a few months away, we remain confident that we’ll be able to celebrate our love of music once again in Reykjavík this November.

However, we want to make the following clear:

  • If the festival would ever be cancelled, ticket buyers get refunded in full automatically.
  • If we are ever forced to move Iceland Airwaves to different dates, ticket buyers can always get a refund if they can’t make it on the new dates.
  • If a ticket buyer abroad is in a country with travel restrictions to Iceland when the festival takes place, they can either apply for a refund, or get tickets for the 2021 edition. Terms and conditions apply.*

* There will be a two week window to apply for a refund from Nov 7 to Nov 21. Proof substantiating travel restrictions will need to be provided. No refunds will be provided any time before this period. Each day our team closely monitors the guidance of Iceland’s health authority and government, as well as keeping abreast of developments further afield.

Keeping you – our Iceland Airwaves family – up to speed on any developments about the festival is a priority for us, and we’ll continue to do so.

If you have any questions please e-mail us.
