COVID-19 Update: March 2021

Things are rapidly changing in Iceland with regards to COVID-19, but as Airwaves is still 8 months away we are confident the festival will go on as planned, IRL this November 3-6.

We work closely with the Icelandic authorities to monitor the situation on a regular basis. In the unlikely event that COVID-19 renders it physically impossible to produce the festival in November, we would look to move the festival dates unto such a time that it would be deemed safe. Tickets would be valid for the new dates, with an option window for refund should the new dates not suit.

Every year we strongly recommend you look into travel insurance for festival tickets, flights, and hotel. If the situation in Iceland remains stable and there are travel restrictions either to or from your departure country, we are not responsible for this. If you book a travel package with Icelandair please refer to their terms of service.

If you want to know what the current status is in Iceland please visit this site (https://www.covid.is/data).

We look forward to seeing you this November!
