Magdalena Szuba is the CEO of STARTIST, a music consultancy, and management company based in Poland. STARTIST is dedicated to fostering exchange between Polish and international acts, educating and consulting musicians, and supporting entertainment companies in achieving their goals.
Magda holds a master’s degree in Music Business and Global Entertainment from Berklee College of Music in Valencia, and a master’s degree in classical piano from Fryderyk Chopin University in Warsaw, Poland. With six years of experience in artist management for prominent Polish jazz musicians, Magda brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Since the age of 16, she has been associated with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (a UNESCO City of Music).
During the pandemic, Magda’s exceptional skills were recognized by American music professionals in a worldwide competition for the best marketing campaign for the dance/ electronic duo Duke&Jones. In 2021, her activities and passion garnered media attention from the country’s largest television and radio stations, as well as magazines such as Forbes Women Poland. Currently, Magda manages the career of Polish electronic/neo-soul artist and producer MIN t, who is also a Berklee graduate.
I’m eager to connect with festivals and venue promoters at Iceland Airways. Additionally, I’m looking forward to meeting potential partners for future projects related to my agency, which specializes in artist management, marketing, consulting, and event planning, or would be interested in such services.
