30+ names added to 2023 lineup

Did you know that the official first day of summer has come and gone in Iceland, and in theory, spring is in the air? Even though that does not mean it has stopped snowing here in the North, it does mean we are inching ever closer to Iceland Airwaves 2023!

Are summer festivals, hot sweaty tents and muddy fields not really your thing anymore?  ✨

Now you have over 30 more reasons to attend the coolest festival in the world, literally! Come join us for 3 evenings of amazing music, stunning winter landscapes, aurora borealis, in the vibrant cultural hub of Reykjavík!

We’re happy to announce one of our all-time favorite bands, Bombay Bicycle Club, one of the most exciting bands of the year Sprints, Franco-American brothers Faux Real, Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Shauf, indie electronica from Montreal Ghostly Kisses, Norwegian popstar SKAAR and German bedroom producer Donkey Kid.

From the budding local scene we have queen of the Westfjords Arny Margret, piano prodigy Eydís Evensen, Kónguló, it-duo Kusk & Óviti, and Kári Egilsson. All very talented and exciting artists we can’t wait for you to get to know better.

Tickets and travel packages are on sale now, so you can book your dream weekend in Reykjavík today, and thank yourself later.
