Dead Air is a darkly funny new solo show from Álfrún Rose, daughter of late Icelandic music legend, Gis Von Ice.
Since Alfie’s dad died, he’s visited everyone’s dreams but hers. Rude. Desperate to talk to him, she uses AiR, an AI chatbot for the dead. A heartfelt, funny, and glitchy deep dive into grief, ghosts, and digital obsession. Heartfelt, humorous and haunted, this modern ghost story explores what happens when holding on makes us lose our footing.
Directed by Anna María Tómasdóttir.
Produced by Double Daughter Productions.
The event takes place at Tjarnarbíó on November 8 and 9, from 16:00 to 17:00, and discounted tickets are available on the personal pages for ticket holders. Age restriction is 16+.
