Halla Tómasdóttir, born in 1968, holds degrees in business and leadership from Auburn, Thunderbird, and Cranfield. She worked for M&M/Mars, Pepsi and RÚV before joining Reykjavík University, where she promoted women’s entrepreneurship. Halla became CEO of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce and co-founded Auður Capital. She led The B Team (2018–2024) and became president of Iceland on 1 August 2024.
