We are happy to announce another partner event, a very special one at that!
Gísli Gunnarsson will be celebrating the release of his latest album ‘Úr Öskunni’ at Grindavíkurkirkja in Grindavík. His new album shares the story of the volcanic eruptions near the town, the home of the composer.
This special event commemorates that period but also celebrates the tight-knit community of Grindavík, supporting each other through uniquely challenging times. The concert will be held at the church in the desolate town of Grindavík where Gísli is joined by the Lýra String Quartet in addition to a full band.
The concert is open and free to attend for everyone.
