Arnór Dan is an Icelandic artist, that has lent his considerable vocal and writing talents to several projects including celebrated Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds (with whom he collaborated on For Now I Am Winter, Say My Name and the BAFTA award-winning soundtrack for Broadchurch (Music From The Original TV Series), the acclaimed anime series Zankyou No Terror with Yoko Kanno, Hugar, and Agent Fresco, his Progressive Rock band. In 2016, Arnór won Male Singer of the Year’ at The Icelandic Music Awards for his sterling and varied work on Agent Fresco’s second full length album Destrier and in 2018, Arnór won “Song of the Year” at The Icelandic Music Awards for his debut solo single Stone By Stone. Stone By Stone showcases a delicate fragility that rides over a celestial bed of evocative strings and pulsing electronic beats. It’s a transcendent 3 minutes and 30 seconds that perfectly showcases the haunting, ethereal timbre of Arnór Dan’s unique voice.
