Silvurdrongur is a Faroese writer, filmmaker and musician who is releasing an aggressively weird album in 2024, titled “nú æt eg eftir ánni”.
The multi-award winning artist uses his native Faroese language and infuses it with wild, sophisticated soundscapes, creating new genre descriptions such as Doomer Pop, Haunted Club, and Extinction Punk.
In its core, it’s a playful combination of artsy hiphop and spiritual dance music, performed in an unhinged manner, dancing a fine line between scary and silly.
Silvurdrongur is also known from the acclaimed band AGGRASOPPAR who have played all over Europe.
