Tamara Mneney is a young singer/songwriter from The Faroe Islands with roots in Tanzania and Denmark. Since she was little, Tamara has made music in her room in the small village Fuglafjørður. The young artist has already caught the attention of many with her unique sound and distinctive voice. Tamara moves between the genres soul, RnB, and hip-hop. In 2024 Tamara has released three singles, to tease her upcoming debut album, which landed her placements on New Music Friday playlists in all of Europe, together with playlists like Equal, Lotus, Fresh Finds and on the cover of New Music Discovery by The Line of Best Fit.
Both the Danish and international press have done several features with the young artist, including ColorsXStudios, Elle, Tmr Magazine, Wordplay, Soundvenue, 360rnb, Niji Magazine and Grrrl Music – to mention a few.
Tamara played two of the biggest festivals in Denmark, Heartland and Roskilde Festival this year. She was also picked as One of the Chosen Ones by Vega I 2024, and was selected to play their World Awaits concept in Oct 2024, focusing on artists with great international potential.
This summer she is playing international festivals such as The Great Escape Festival, G! Festival and Iceland Airwaves, as well as Danish festivals such as Alive Festival and Folkely Festival.
