Emerging from a hiatus, the Icelandic Emilíana Torrini is back! Along with a brand new single ‘Let’s Keep Dancing’, she announced her latest album ‘Miss Flower’, which is out now. We are beyond excited to invite you once again to join Emilíana’s journey as she unveils the intricate tapestry of her brand-new and deeply personal album.
Discovered singing in a restaurant in Reykjavík, Emilíana Torrini first made waves with her vocals on GusGus’ debut album ‘Polydistortion’ in 1997. After relocating to London, she co-wrote Kylie Minogue’s singles ‘Someday’ and ‘Slow’ — for which she landed a Grammy nomination. You may best know her from ‘Gollum’s Song’ (2002), which she wrote for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, or her hit single ‘Jungle Drum’ (2009). After a series of breathtaking solo albums that earned her a reputation as one of the industry’s most prolific collaborators, her newest album ‘Miss Flower’ may be her most personal one yet.
