This year we’re turning a quarter of a century old, and to celebrate we are going to deliver the best Airwaves ever. Fact. A bunch of party bands to boogie to, some artists that are hotter than the hottest hot tub and some people who are pretty darn cool, insert cold pun.

Please welcome South London singer and producer Shygirl, renowned for her mid-2000s club-pop bangers, the 2023 Mercury Prize nominee boasts acclaimed solo albums alongside collaborations with the likes of SOPHIE, Arca, and FKA twigs.
Also announced today are cult London trio bar italia bringing their signature lo-fi, scuzzy, grunge, Toronto-based, Japanese-Scottish artist Saya Gray, UK dance duo Joy (Anonymous), American synth-pop duo Magdalena Bay and Belgian dance-duo Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul.
Local bands added today include Inspector Spacetime, the Icelandic trio’s whose high energy rendition of noughties disco is irresistibly lovable. Alongside Inspector Spacetime comes Icelandic hip-hop duo, Úlfur Úlfur, who have spent 15 years developing their sound into something that is more than ordinary rap. Further Icelandic additions comes in the form of Klemens Hannigan and Grapevine Award winner Róshildur.
