Tickets for the livestream are available worldwide and you can watch from anywhere. The stream will open from 20:00 GMT on Saturday 6th November. You will be able to watch back as many times as you wish within that 24-hour period. The stream will contain 4 channels with 4 venues. Livestream
A livestream ticket gives you digital access to all venues through livefromreykjavik.novatv.is. This site is usable via smartphones and browser. Here is how it works: 1. Buy your Livestream ticket 2. Go to livefromreykjavik.novatv.is and sign up to create an account. 3. After you have signed up and logged into your account, you can use the unique code from your PDF ticket to access ‘Live from Reykjavík’ streams. Enjoy the show!
1. After you have bought your ticket, go to livefromreykjavik.novatv.is and sign up to create an account.

2. You need a smartphone, tablet, computer, or smart TV to watch the service. This device must have an up-to-date internet browser. Please note, the system does not support browsers more than 2 years old.

You will need a good internet connection, so super-fast Wi-Fi, a 4G connection or a fixed cable!
You can of course also watch the stream on your television. Casting the live stream can be done via various options:

Airplay via Internet browser Safari
From an iPhone or iPad Connect your Apple iPhone or iPad to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2- compatible Smart TV.
Go to the stream via your iPhone or iPad via the Internet browser Safari, tap the Airplay icon in the video player and choose the device on which you want to watch.

From a Mac
Connect your Mac to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible Smart TV.
On your Mac, go to the stream via Internet browser Safari and click on the Airplay icon in the video player.
Choose the device you want to watch on.

Chromecast via internet browser Google Chrome
To be able to cast the video to a Chromecast receiver you will have to use Google Chrome as a browser on either your computer or on your Android device.
You will also need to be on the same wireless network as the receiver device.
When the video has started to play on your primary device, an icon will appear in the player controls, enabling you to cast the video itself to your receiver and enjoy the video on your big screen.

Via an HDMI cable Connect the HDMI cable to the output of your computer and to the HDMI input of your TV.
Select the TV as output in the image settings of your operating system.
Switch on the TV and select the used HDMI input of your TV as input.
After that, your TV will immediately display the image and sound from your computer. Then go to the stream
via your computer.
This probably has to do with the cookies in your browser. Remove them, then close your browser and try again. It could also be that the stream is blocked by an Ad blocker or antivirus program. Turn off your Ad blocker and / or make an exception for the stream in your antivirus program. If this fails, try watching the stream in another browser. Do you use Chrome and have extensions installed that collect data? Then turn these off. If the above does not help, update your browser.
Check if your internet connection is OK. If this is not the problem, select a lower playback quality using the quality selector icon in the play bar. If this still doesn’t help, delete your cookies, and restart the stream.
The stream may be blocked by an Ad blocker or antivirus program. Turn off your Ad blocker and / or make an exception for the stream in your antivirus program. If the above does not help, update your browser.
Check in the video player that the sound is not on ‘mute’ via the sound icon in the player bar. If the sound in the video player is on, check under settings of the device to which sound source the sound is sent. For example, your Bluetooth headset may be connected to your device and in order to play the sound through the device, you have to set the “output” channel on the device itself instead of the headphones.

No. Live from Reykjavík is a separate event to Iceland Airwaves. The next Iceland Airwaves takes place 2 – 5 November 2022.
The stream starts at 20:00 GMT (Icelandic time) and the streams will be available for 24 hours. The stream will open approximately 30 mins before. Doors for the venues for the live shows will open at around 19:30 GMT.
A livestream only ticket gives you digital access to all the shows for 24 hours from 20:00 GMT on Saturday, 6th November.
There will be tickets for the live shows available, sold by venue: Fríkirkjan, Gamla Bíó, Gaukurinn, Iðnó.
Please note that you can only buy a ticket for one venue.
Due to the current gathering and safety restrictions, concert guests cannot travel between venues.
Your live show ticket includes access to the livestream.
