We’re back with another wave of artists crashing into the IA25 lineup! This time it’s 29 fresh names, locked, loaded, and ready to make Reykjavík rumble this November. From underground icons to future headliners, we’re stacking the lineup like it’s a game of sonic Jenga! Quite literally so, because you can also see who plays when in our daysplit schedule.

LET'S MEET THE ARTISTS!

Joey Valence & Brae are an American hip-hop duo from State College, Pennsylvania, consisting of rappers Joseph Bertolino and Braedan Luge. Blending old-school flair with modern edge, their 2022 breakout single, ‘Punk Tactics’, went viral launching them into internet fame.

One of the most prominent bands to emerge from Iceland in the early 21st century and one everyone’s been waiting for, Retro Stefson! Their eclectic music eludes genres, and the band topped local charts with songs from their self-titled third record, released in 2012. Following a hiatus in 2016, the beloved Icelandic band reunited in 2024 and we can’t wait to have them!

Our lineup is not complete without one of Iceland’s greatest rappers, Herra Hnetusmjör, who burst onto the country’s scene in 2014 with his debut single ‘Elías’. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Icelandic rap.

Moving on to infectious energy and soulful chords to soft, woozy vocals, Bricknasty are one of Ireland’s most talked-about live acts. Blending R&B, hip-hop, and an anarchic edge shaped by frontman Fatboy’s roots in Balbutcher Lane, their sound is as raw as genre-defying. 

Hailing from Scotland, Katie Gregson-Macleod rose to fame in 2022 when her song ‘Complex’ went viral on TikTok. With a lifelong passion for storytelling, Katie’s music explores themes of nostalgia, power dynamics, and self-reflection. 

Over to the Colombian psychedelic rock band BALTHVS, whose sound fuses funk, Latin, R&B, and soul to create an immersive musical experience that transports listeners to another dimension. Their captivating performances and soulful sound have earned them a loyal following worldwide.

Someone you don’t want to miss is Iceland’s very own JFDR. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and film score composer, she is celebrated for her introspective songwriting and innovative soundscapes and was honoured with Iceland’s Album of the Year award in 2024 for her solo album Museum

Over to emerging UK star Maya Delilah who creates tender alternative pop. She gained a large following on platforms like TikTok and Instagram for her unique guitar playing style and has since released several EPs definitely worth checking out. 

Dirty Hit’s Japanese-Canadian artist Saya Gray creates multifaceted art-pop that defies convention. Her latest album, Saya, showcases an eclectic mix of sounds and textures that reflect her singular artistic vision.

We’re not complete without rising force in modern pop Lilyisthatyou, most widely recognised for her release ‘FMRN’ which went viral in 2022.  Her latest EP, Painful Euphoria, blends fearless lyricism and sounds that transcend genres.

Hailing from Manchester, England, WU LYF formed in the summer of 2008, with their name standing for World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation. Their music takes on elements of heavy rock and alternative pop, their debut album Go Tell Fire to the Mountain earned them international acclaim. After a thirteen-year hiatus that began in 2012, the band has recently returned to the industry with exclusive live performances at selected festivals.

Icelandic, London-based guitarist, songwriter, and producer Ari Árelíus creates music that fuses psychedelic surf rock with Saharan desert blues. His first album, Hiatus Terræ, released in 2023, garnered critical acclaim, earning nominations for the prestigious Kraumur Awards and a shortlist spot for Iceland’s national music awards.

Originally from Louisiana, I Am Roze turned to music after losing everything during Hurricane Laura in 2021, and was discovered by producer Fred again.., who sampled their Instagram videos on his album released in the same year. Now based in the UK and collaborating with leading producers, Roze has quickly emerged as one of the most promising voices of their generation. 

Over to Mongolia, where singer Enji creates a unique blend of jazz and folk with the thousand-year-old traditions of Mongolian music. Currently based in Munich, her lyrics tell personal stories about unbearable distances, the oddness of being on earth, and the simple truths in life.

Then we have Icelandic composer, singer, and violinist  Iðunn Einars. Although she was raised classically, she has found her place as a performer in alternative pop music, mixing those two genres

The experimental Icelandic Inki is known for blending electronic beats with unconventional narratives, from sampling oral histories and prison stories to building instruments that play earthquake data. Her work pushes the boundaries of composition, merging music, storytelling, and visual art.

While best known as the co-founder, co-lead vocalist, and principal songwriter of the Brooklyn-based band TV on the Radio, Tunde Adebimpe is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. In 2025, he released his first-ever formal solo album, Thee Black Boltz, which explores the human condition in all its forms.

Alaska1867 is an Icelandic hip-hop and rap artist who first gained recognition on SoundCloud for her unique sound, blending intricate melodies with powerful, hard-hitting beats. 

PUNCHBAG are a new brother-sister outfit from South London, whose sound fuses punk’s raw, unfiltered energy with the overflowing ecstasy of pop. Signing to Mute Records in 2025, the duo released their debut EP I’m Not Your Punchbag.  

The Icelandic Creature of Habit is the personal project of guitarist Reynir Snær Magnússon, known throughout Iceland’s diverse music scene for his expressive, cinematic style that lets the guitar take the lead. Blending moody textures with raw emotion, each track feels like a soundtrack to moments you didn’t know needed music.

Moving on to Jeshi, also known as Jesse Greenway, is an artist in London. His music predominantly addresses working-class disenfranchisement under austerity in Britain through personal storytelling and powerful social commentary. How about that?

The genre-blending FABRÄK is a duo from Copenhagen, Denmark, known for fusing punk, rock, and hip-hop into a sound bursting with attitude, social critique, and raw self-awareness. Their debut RIGE BØRN LEGER BEDST stunned critics and propelled them into earning a Best New Live Act nomination at the DMA Awards. 

Hovering around the edges of Reykjavík’s rock venues and bars, Icelandic band Spacestation channels jagged riffs and post-punk nihilism to create a sound that feels like a night train to nowhere. The emerging Icelandic band released their debut album, Reykavík Syndrome, in 2025, with the single ‘í Dramalandinu’ earning them Song Of The Year at the Reykavík Grapevine Music Awards. 

The Icelandic Drengurinn fengurinn started in 2016 as a solo project built on a DIY spirit and genre-hopping chaos. In 2024, it evolved into a full band with Agnieszka Staroń and Kęstutis Balčiūnas joining on bass and drums. Their sound is raw, impulsive, and proudly unpolished—pulling from no-wave and outsider music.

Drinking Boys and Girls Choir are a punk rock band from Daegu, South Korea, known for their energetic skate punk sound and commitment to DIY ethics. Formed in 2013, the band has since gained international recognition for their dynamic performances and advocacy within the LGBTQ+ community. LOVE.

Icelandic punk band Geðbrigði blends punk, heavy metal, and other musical styles. Acknowledged for writing lyrics in Icelandic, the band won first place at 2025’s Músíktilraunir contest, an annual competition for Icelandic bands. Their singer Þórhildur Helga Pálsdóttir was also recognised as “Singer of Músíktilraunir”.

Getdown Services are a British duo comprising Josh Law and Ben Sadler. Based in Bristol and Manchester, their music blends electronic, pop, and disco styles with witty and cynical lyrics. The pair released their debut album, Crisps, in 2023.

Nabeel is an Iraqi-American band formed by Musician Yasir Razak. They create dreamy and nostalgic music that fuses traditional Iraqi sounds with alternative influences. Named after Razak’s father, their music often explores themes of belonging, identity, and the yearning for a sense of wholeness.

Panic Shack are a punk-infused rock band from Cardiff, Wales, known for their fierce energy and sharp lyrics. Since forming in 2018, the band have gained national recognition for their breakout EP Baby Shack, and a string of punchy, unapologetic singles that are absolutely worth the listen
