Sophie Williams is a freelance music writer and broadcaster. Having previously served as Associate Commissioning Editor (New Music) at NME, she is now on staff at Billboard UK and the BRIT Awards, and writes for The Guardian, The Observer, and Welsh language zine Klust, among other outlets. She is also a Mercury Prize judge and a regular guest across the BBC radio network.
