Welcome to our very first Tiny Tower session! A new series bringing you raw and unfiltered performances from our lineup from one of Reykjavík’s most iconic little landmarks.
There’s something quietly magnetic about KUSK & Óviti. Since 2022 the duo, Kolbrún Óskars and Hrannar Máni, have been crafting songs that feel both tender and danceable, with lyrics that hit close to home and beats that somehow pull us into some kind of dance move (which can be quite unfortunate for those who are looking at us at that moment).
Their first full-length album, released this year, marks a bold step forward: dreamy synths, drum and bass, and late-night dancefloor energy, all stitched together with care. But it’s in their live shows (like this one) that their magic really unfolds. One moment you’re swaying, the next you’re dancing without even realizing it (again, sorry if you had to see that).

Tiny Tower Sessions are intimate pop-up performances filmed live in the quirky little tower on Lækjargata, located at the heart of downtown Reykjavík, featuring artists from our local Iceland Airwaves lineup. Hidden in plain sight, these surprise sets appear without warning, turning an ordinary stroll through downtown Reykjavík into something unforgettable. Each session is captured and shared on YouTube, offering a spark of the energy, talent, and magic to come this November.
