We here at Iceland Airwaves are thrilled to partner up with Faroese Music Export and British Columbia/Canada Music Export, and are announcing 6 exciting additions to our lineup!
The Faroe Islands, our dear cousins, are also from a remote island not everyone can place on a map. They do however have established themselves as a wonderful creative hotspot, churning out world-class artists.
Music Export Canada, our other northernly neighbours have been making waves over the past years with an impressive roster of talent, coming from the landmass beyond straight to the stage in Reykjavík.

Sailing over the sea to bring you Faroese music at it’s best are dark electro pop and best live act Elinborg, flowerpunk naprap semi supergroup AGGRASOPPAR, Faroese/American soul-pop singer Marianna Winter, and blinged out RnB-soulpop jazzygold.
Last year the Faroese artists at Iceland Airwaves caused quite the stir racking up mentions from the likes of Rolling Stone. If you missed it last year, now is your chance!

Flying over from the land far far away are Haley Blais dubbed “Canada’s nostalgia pop queen” by i-D Magazine, and experimental pop project Wallgrin.
