We are beyond delighted to share with you the first confirmed speakers for the IA Conference, taking place at The IA Center during Iceland Airwaves this November.
The IA Conference will host a dynamic array of panels, networking, keynotes and more, a perfect backdrop to Iceland Airwaves music festival and a hot ticket for anyone curious about topics such as AI, innovation, inclusivity, creativity, and of course all things music.
Joining the speaker lineup today are people by the likes of the actual First Lady of Iceland and Keychange ambassador Eliza Reid, Of Monsters and Men and MUNA manager Heather Kolker, man of the year Haraldur Thorleifsson, Iceland’s only music supervisor Inga Magnes Weisshappel, and Artist & Label Development Lead at YouTube/Google Nur Ozdamar
Representing the live music industry that we all know and love is Eurosonic booker extraordinaire Oskar Strajn, CAA rockstar agent to Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and Ariana Grande Marlene Tsuchii, and ATC Live booking agent to some of our favorite acts Sarah Joy.
Now, let’s talk about the conference’s quirks. This isn’t your ordinary music conference with stuffy lecture rooms and bored interns. The IA Conference is taking on a new ethos, taking place in the IA Center, located at Hafnarþorpið like last year. The IA Center will be even bigger and better in 2023 hosting a brand new official venue, the IA Conference, accreditation, special events and much more.
There will be plenty of networking at the IA Conference, happy hours, ranting, raving, and general pleasantness for all delegates.
The price will go up this Friday, November 2nd. A ticket to the IA conference includes a full 3 day festival pass, access to the conference, invitations to invite-only networking events and mixers PLUS all the benefits of Airwaves Plus including priority access to venues.
