Fourteen fresh acts added for 2022

We are delighted beyond words today to announce the first fourteen bands that will perform this year. They are:

Amyl & the Sniffers Arlo Parks, Arny Margret, Axel Flóvent, Crack Cloud, Daughters of Reykjavík, Eydís Evensen, FLOTT, gugusar, HAM, LÓN, Metronomy, superserious, ZÖE

Arlo Parks is one of Britain’s hottest artists right now; she swept both the Brit Awards for Breakthrough Artist and the Mercury Awards for Album of the Year last year, and is nominated for two Grammy Awards this year, including for Best New Artist. Indie band Metronomy are well known to everyone from the “cute”-generation and are famous for their super fun stage performances. Amyl & the Sniffers are an amazing punk band from Melbourne that have been called “the most exciting rock’n’roll band in decades”; lead-singer Amy Taylor “crackles like a live wire with too much current,” says The Guardian.

Icelandic acts in the announcement include the young and aspiring Ísafjörður-ite Árný Margrét, a guitarist and singer with the voice of an angel, producer gugusar who is undoubtedly a star on the rise in Icelandic music, everyone’s favorite Icelandic heavy rock band HAM and Iceland’s newest designated partyband FLOTT.

Now it’s your turn to listen and discover. We’ve done the work for you and made a fancy Spotify playlist where you can hear them all. Enjoy!
