FROM TRADE MISSION TO OPEN CALL FOR SPANISH SHOWCASE
For the first time ever The Spanish Wave will join us at Iceland Airwaves with a project representing Spanish music & industry, in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Iceland. This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relationships between both of our countries, so this is the perfect occasion!
Together with their official collaborators, The Spanish Wave has some super cool things in store:
A Spanish showcase with young and national talent that will make you believe you just landed in Spain (more about the open call below)!
An official reception hosted by the Spanish delegation for those who are industry professionals, including media, Icelandic and Spanish institutions and personalities from the Spanish culture, industry and officials
A trade mission for professionals! Including companies, agencies, Spanish offices with business meetings, participation in conference panels, and “speed meetings” with artists!
We can’t wait for them to bring those much-needed Spanish vibes to our dark November days!

BRINGING SPANISH MUSIC RIGHT TO YOUR DOORSTEP
The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help in the export of emerging artists and bands from Spain, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, showcase festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry.
